Erectile Dysfunction Defined

While various authors describe Viagra, the difference is more lexical and syntactical than conceptual. The Wikipedia defines erectile dysfunction as a “sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop and maintain an erection of the penis during sexual performance.” Simply stated, the term refers to inability of the copulating organ of man to penetrate during a sexual act. Metaphorically stated, it is “the failure to raise the flag of virility when the smoke signalling a sexual battle is at hand.” And as a matter of joke, erectile dysfunction is commonly described as the “dead man’s gonad” or “the coward dick.”
The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases happens “when a man has trouble getting or keeping an erection. Accordingly erectile dysfunction becomes more common as you get older. But male sexual dysfunction is not a natural part of aging.
In a more colloquially correct description, Levitra is called impotence. It is the incapacity to keep going and sustain erection to satisfy one’s partner in a sexual intercourse. Erection usually happens when sexual arousal causes electrical impulses to be released along the nerves going to the penis, which in turn, secretes nitric oxide causing the production of cyclic GMP in the cells or corpora carnevosa. The blood that fills the corpora carnevosa makes the penis expand. The process is reversed when the level of cyclicGMP fall considerably causing the penis to fall out and die out in the midst of a raging sexual battle. To understand the process in a simpler way, think of a sponge as an analogy. When the sponge (penis) is dripped in the water (the medium which caused the sponge to expand), it expands. But when water is drained from it, it returns to its original shape and size.
